Among the three main rivers that flow majestically from Dhualgiri Mountain Range in Myagdi zone. The smalest river amonsgt 3 rivers known as Raughat Khola. This river was historically known by various names such as "Rubber khola", "Sunsari khola", "Raghu ganga", "Rahughat khola" and many more due to various stories dictated by our ancestors.
We humans are social beings and wish to live our lives among our near and dear. However, as you may have already experienced, although we have migrated to the United Kingdom in search for the better life and future for ourselves and our families, somewhere inside us the very root that makes us who we are today is being diminished due to the busy lifestyle that we lead.
Furthermore, our quest to find physical, emotional, psychological and social contentment can be a vicious cycle if we do not have the support from our families and friends. This is because we tend to become caught up in various problems which act as barriers between us and our happiness which can have a profound effect on us and the health and well being of our family.
We are all aware that death is inevitable but the sad part is that we do not have a clue of when, where and in what situation it will strike. Therefore, now that we are all here in the United Kingdom, the responsibility lies upon us to create such an environment for ourselves and for the future of our family where they can grow happily with close families/friends, learn fruitfully and be able to support each other in times of distress.
As the consequence of this vision in mind, the organisation “Myagdi, Rahughat Khola Sero-Fero (U.K)” was established on the 23rd of August 2008.
